I only got .25" My coworker, just W of me at 1000' in Colrain only got about .75" It was over to straight rain here by 4pm even at high elevations.
Brutal.
Greenfield was only about .25” before flip to sleet and then rain. That was around 4pm then we took off for Wilbraham where they started as sleet and then rained.
Go easy on yourself, SWFE can go either direction. I don't like falling into the mindset that "mid-levels always torch sooner than modeled with these systems" because they don't always. This one also lacks the initial qpf thump unfortunately.
Mid levels warm pretty quickly, if QPF comes in more paltry than modeled than this is a non-event for most.
Poor snow growth -SN to pellets and drizzle.
