  1. Yeah and I think yesterday storm had a greater effect on the entire Cape than Bob did.
  2. My sister and folks house in Chelmsford had a tree come down on it with some damage to the siding and roof.
  3. I’ll hopefully have some pictures later but friends on the Upper Cape say Bourne, Falmouth and Sandwich are a disaster area. my parents house is OK but houses on both sides of them have trees on them. My friends in North Falmouth say the tree damage is worse than hurricane Bob!
  4. Rookie mistake, not charging up before a ‘cane.
  5. 1.8” two day rain total. Highest wind gust I could find at local Greenfield wx stations was 28mph. as we thought, run-of-the-mill nor’easter for interior folks. Good luck to all the folks with no electricity and downed trees. Hopefully the restoration process is quick for you.
  6. I’ll be interested in the morning to see what the top gust was at Orange airport. Guessing 30-35mph.
  7. Glad we inland. upstate New York seems to be getting over performing rains with this.
  8. Outside of severe season convection, NW MA is where wind goes to die.
  9. Yeah, I have no interest in wind damage. That being said, the highest gust I have found, on any Wunderground station within 20 miles of here is 14mph.
  10. Been lucky here today. Only a few showers since 7 AM. I was expecting a full misery day. 52° overcast. Light wind.
  11. After 1.4” overnight looks like just intermittent showers until this afternoon. Just a light breeze here so far.
  12. You are setting yourself up for disappointment. It's going to be stormy but the fireworks you are looking for will be well East of your location.
  13. The valley isn’t blowing 50mph. Maybe some folks on surrounding hilltops get gusts to 50 but nobody in the valley from Hartford to Brattleboro.
  14. Yes and there’s still time for this to bump east.
  15. I am expecting breezy with showers out this way.I am expecting breezy with showers out this way.
  16. I just don’t see this being that exciting for the deep interior. Kevin is south and east of me at good elevation so maybe he gets in on the wind fine but probably nothing burger out this way. I’m not really looking forward to the soaking but hopefully we can keep it in the 1-2” range.
  17. 55/38. Sunny. Last day of a pretty amazing stretch of weather.
  18. Looks like it’s maybe adjusting towards the opposite.
  19. I am going to go ahead and cut those numbers in half. Even then, still pretty impressive rainfall.
  20. Watch this end up being the best coastal storm until next May.
  21. Bullseye over Franklin Co just like all of July, can we keep that going through winter please?
