  1. This storm sucks. Lol. We literally had about five minutes of sleet today and that has been it.
  2. There is literally nothing falling here as this batch of precipitation moves overhead. Cloud deck actually brightened a bit.
  3. 34/24. Started as a burst of sleet but now nothing. I’m N of Rt 2 so that’s not encouraging.
  4. Go easy on yourself, SWFE can go either direction. I don't like falling into the mindset that "mid-levels always torch sooner than modeled with these systems" because they don't always. This one also lacks the initial qpf thump unfortunately.
  5. Mid levels warm pretty quickly, if QPF comes in more paltry than modeled than this is a non-event for most. Poor snow growth -SN to pellets and drizzle.
  6. Yeeesh, all of the meso models looking pretty ugly. Most of CT starts as sleet. Maybe 1-2" for the RT 2 corridor.
  7. Tomorrow may be an all day IPA bender for Kevin if he is straight sleet to start and then 33F drizzle.
  8. If it shreds out and QPF is less than modeled then it is going to be really lame in most of SNE. Inch of snow to sleet to drizzle.
  9. It takes along time to accumulate that much sand. Not sure there is enough QPF for that?
  10. The NAM always leads the charge with the mid-level warm push. The mix and change over is probably faster than modeled 2/3 of the time. I just don’t wanna see you and I getting an hour of snow and then all of a sudden pellets are already mixing in. That’s when you know the mix line is going to race right into central New England. Whatever, just hoping for 2 inches of snow.
  11. Pike N looks good for a couple of inches, obviously more N of RT 2. Hopefully we tick a bit colder and Kevin and company get in on the goods. Wiz mentioned crappy snow growth soundings but I won't care as long as decent qpf is there to lay down the start of a pre-christmas pack.
  12. Literally can't be in a better place at a better elevation than in the hills of N Worcester Co.
  13. That's certainly not a stretch and should surprise no one if it happens. Let's see what tomorrow brings on the models.
  14. He doesn't know the secret handshakes that the big fakes use.
