    Heavy, heavy rain and gusty for past 30 - 45 minutes. I’d guess gusts up 35 or so. .

    While I'm sure I'll still lose power for a few days, I'm glad this thing looks like crap. Was worried about it being an actual hurricane and going right over my house.

    Nice little storm passing just north of the house. Some nice rumbles of thunder and about 12 rain drops.

    Still waiting for the cool front. Super humid and warm after the rain showers a little while ago. 82/74 IMBY.

    Heavy heavy rain in these initial bands. Not much wind earlier, but the tree tops are starting to move now. Still pretty light though.

    Pouring buckets here and occasional loud rumbles of thunder. Most interesting weather in weeks....zzzzz. Ha Ha. At least it's some much needed rain.

    Similar strategy here. Blue baseball cap with tape on the front and bill. Put tanglefoot on the tape, put the hat on backwards and walk around the yard or wear it while mowing. Always have a dozen or so of those f*ckers stuck to it when I'm done.

    This was the view of that same storm looking north from Colchester around 3:15pm .

    Occasional rumbles of thunder and dark clouds but storms are staying north of mby for now.

    Meanwhile GON was even cooler than PWM. 63 for a high yesterday. 66 the day before. High was only 76 IMBY.

    Young (~12 year old/40' tall) Tulip tree in the back yard had actual leaves popping out yesterday. I expect by the end of this week it'll be nice and green. Lot's of flowers on all the maples too.

    And yet it's snowing down here in Salem. Weird.

    Up to .25" on grass and elevated surfaces. My guess is we won't get much more accumulation with the sun coming up now. Unless the rates really pick up.
