While I'm sure I'll still lose power for a few days, I'm glad this thing looks like crap. Was worried about it being an actual hurricane and going right over my house.
Similar strategy here. Blue baseball cap with tape on the front and bill. Put tanglefoot on the tape, put the hat on backwards and walk around the yard or wear it while mowing. Always have a dozen or so of those f*ckers stuck to it when I'm done.

Young (~12 year old/40' tall) Tulip tree in the back yard had actual leaves popping out yesterday. I expect by the end of this week it'll be nice and green. Lot's of flowers on all the maples too.
Up to .25" on grass and elevated surfaces. My guess is we won't get much more accumulation with the sun coming up now. Unless the rates really pick up.
