    2nd round of hail and heavy rain today. Nice thunder thrown in too. Hail was bigger than the last time and more of it, but still less than pea size.

    43 and light rain while driving back from Waterford to Salem. Radar looks like some bright banding to the west of me in Middlesex county...curious if it's actually snow or not

    Hmmm.....HRRR saying I might get 2 to 3" even down here. We'll see if my 388' of elevation is enough. Given this winter as a whole, I doubt it.

    65 in Colchester, 64 at home. Beautiful spring day.

    .1" snow on grassy surfaces before changing to all rain around 3pm. 1.66" of rain.

    Crocus have been blooming by my back door all week. Daffodils in my yard have buds and there are some blooming in Norwich already. Have also seen frogs hopping across the road during a couple of the recent, warm, rainy evenings.

    Missed the eastern shore of CT as well. I was down in Groton most of the afternoon. It was pretty windy but nothing outrageous. Just branches down here and there on the drive home to Salem.

    34 was the low here. Light to moderate rain since early am. I was thinking the WWA OKX put out for us yesterday was a bit ambitious for down here or any part northern New London county. Surprised that you didn't get below freezing though.

    Yet another morning where it did not fall below freezing overnight. 35 for the low IMBY. Dozens of nights like this so far this 'winter'.

    Had about 3.1" last night when I measured around 10:30pm. It was down to less than 2.5" after some rain when I went to sleep at midnight. Now down to about 1.5"

    Cold air must not be too far off the deck here in SE CT. Currently 46/37 IMBA with sleet coming down.

    63/42 here after sunset. Hit 67 earlier. Turned over the garden soil today. Any bugs that were harboring deep down in the soil should be near the surface now and hopefully will die when the weather turns colder at the end of the week.

    Just drove from 39 and white rain in Waterford to 33 and snow at home in Salem. Not too far as the crow flies.
