  1. Would your above discussion be conducive to the negatively tilted 500mb trough; as depicted in the right hand image, riding up the coast?
  2. Lots of mid 40's temps in the SW part of CT. Still stuck at 37 here. Melting but was hoping for more.
  3. 34. Rain and fog. Looking forward to a warmish, sunny day tomorrow.
  4. ~86" down here. 2.6 X of my normal snowfall. Max depth was over 20" for WEEKS! Crazy winter.
  5. Phys.org is an excellent resource for those of us who aren't actual meteorologists or scientists.
  6. Warm and green is where it's at. F*ck this cold and snow shite.
  7. Heh...Of course we've all seen the 7/10 split for T-storms....but I've never seen it for a snow squall. Oh well.
  8. @The 4 Seasons 0.6" here. 14.2" now for the season.
  9. Yeah the past few years the January thaw has been like mid 50's or more. This coming warm up is much more subdued. Tenor of the season so far. Cold or cooler regime reigns.
  10. One month of winter in the books. Above 1/3 of my normal snowfall for the season is pretty impressive. 13.6" so far. Normal is around 35" or so. Looking forward to the 'warm up'; such as it may be, in the latter part of January.
  11. Unlike most people here, I do not enjoy cold weather. I like snow, it's beautiful and obviously better to look at than brown sticks and grass, but my preferred weather is warm and green.
  12. @The 4 Seasons 3.9" final. A few flakes coming down in this last dying line. Temp down to 23.
  13. Closing in on 2" here. Nice fluffy snow. 28 degrees.
  14. On my watch list! In weather related news - it's windy, cold and cloudy outside, but at least the days are getting longer.
  15. Yep, I'm ready for a week of 50's. Unlike most on here I don't give a damn about the snow and cold.
  16. Yep, gonna end up with ~2" or so of bullet proof pack.
  17. 45/44 and this rain ain't gonna get it done. The pack is shrinking but I don't think it's going to disappear. Should still have some left over once this is all said and done.
  18. @The 4 Seasons6.5" final. Pretty impressive considering it was really just 4 hours of precipitation.
