  1. Almost 3/4 inch of rain here since it started raining about 4 am. Looks like it is moving out, just a little drizzle left. Temps went from mid 40's to low 50's soon as the rain let up.
  2. Yep, pretty raw type day. Mid 40's and an E wind with rain and fog.
  3. I was basically down to dirt over 2/3's of the yard, had to do something lol.
  4. Spent the day yesterday readying the yard to throw out some grass seed (again) today. Hoping the rain Friday, Sunday night and Monday give it a good start.......
  5. Numbers for my location for the month of March.... Averaged high was 52.1 degrees vs a normal of 55.0 degrees, a -2.9 below normal. 6. LOL, trademarked...... Right at 30 this am, clouds rolling in.
  7. A mostly clear start to the day with mid 20's and a little breeze. Temps fell all day yesterday thru 40's with gusty winds.

  9. Yep, ECNPZ was right, pretty strong front!
  10. A 72.7 high yesterday. I'll agree with losetoa6, almost too warm...we have 5+ months to put up with heat. Least next 24-48 hours look nice. Just enough rain last two early am's to put something in the gauge, 0.02 yesterday and 0.01 today.
  11. Well, we should never turn away a little ground water to help the water table.......
  12. Interesting that exactly half the runs give me 2.0 inches or more of snow. Course, this is at 10-1 ratios and it is April, but I'll take those odds........
  13. Well, actually your numbers would help to 'verify' that record, so there is that. 88-90" is a PILE of moisture for one year.
  14. An e3 and e26 combo would finish the year out with a resounding bang lol.
  15. 4-9" from CO-ops reporting around here back then, pretty impressive for that late in the season.
  16. How many ponies you pushing thru that 200R?
  17. I sorta agree with that statement. If you hit climo I'd think that would be an automatic 'C'. Now, if you go off expectations or what is modeled or forecasted and it bombs 2 or 3 times, that may drop it to a 'C-', but I'd have a hard time grading lower than that hitting your yearly average, which is what a C is, right?
  18. LOL, I have already 'mowed', but that was mostly a mulching of the leaves one day last week. I'll probably do the same again today before I go in for 3-11. Anybody need some leaves? Mostly oak and cheery, with some maple and sycamore mixed in. I'll probably start on 'lawn repair' next week, need to get a load of top soil first to fill in some low spots. Right at freezing here this am, and like you, not much seen yet on the grass front. BIL is here (he is a contractor and doing a job up here) and said we were a solid 2/3 weeks behind his home, he lives near Smith Mt Lake in Bedford County.
  19. Yes, sleet and graupel are counted as snow, congrats!!!
  20. Wow at the rainfall numbers N and E of me! Mappy? Is there an ark in front for y'all to board? Crazy. And Happy B-day (late) to lostoa6, hope it was a good one! Wind is in full gale here this am, we do that exceptionally well it seems, no matter the season.
  21. Well, Happy Birthday! Sorry it was so wet....
  22. All the VA511 traffic cams from 102-96 on I-64 looking good! lol http://www.511virginia.org/
