  1. Well, I GUESS this is from Elsa, in last hour picked up 0.18 and had a 31 mph gust on my equipment. However JUST to my south on next property (maybe 200 ft) a large cherry came down and several large limbs (4-8 inches) broke out of other trees. Clean up isle 4!
  2. Well, hope your day yesterday was awesome @WxWatcher007!! Sorry I missed it, may you celebrate with a CAT 5 and a full blown blizzard later in this year!
  3. Great start to the day, 54.7/53.1. Low was 54.4

  6. As others have mentioned, great start to the day! 54.7/53.3 here
  7. Agree with both. I'd say 60-100 years ago storms were UNDER reported do to lack of observations. Things like Bill were just 'blows' or noreasters or such.
  8. What a great start to the day! Dew's back in the 50's and temp right at 60 currently. Have most of the doors/windows open to let the air circulate.
  9. That was a close guesstimate last night, 1.51 in gauge this am, that is enough for a new daily rainfall record for me, beating 1995's 1.39 inches. A bit cooler this morning with a bit of mist/light drizzle falling and 64.9 degrees.
  10. Home and eyeballing the CoCoRaHS looks in the 1.5-1.8 inches range. I was already heading towards 4 inches for the month before today. Saw a few 4-6 inch reports in the Lynchburg area today, just today... mudslide report or two and evacuations of homes/apartments ongoing there.
  11. At work, so no idea how much has fell, but 3 separate downpours about 20-30 minutes each have come thru this afternoon and evening. Still raining, but not at 100 foot visibility levels as earlier lol.
  12. Yes, all is well here, thanks for that. Hope all is going well your way
  13. Another 1.10" in about 40 minutes here.....crazy.
  14. That seems a tad warm for Boston there @Scotty Lightning lol!!
  15. Going on his own timeframe after doing what he loved to do for 30+ years? Win.
  16. About as bad as my Chicago letting Joel Quenneville go few years ago....
  17. So... I've had more rain the first 10 days of this month (2.11) than ALL of last month (1.51).
  18. Yes, actually I have seen 2 (yes 2!) of these in the years while flying into Denver airport, both slightly off to the NE. We landed just like normal too lol. May and June seem to be prime time for them for some reason.
  19. Hearing boomers but nothing water-wise yet....
