  4. 49.8/48.9 here this am. Running a -3.1 so far for the month.
  5. Well, where he is in Breck, that is. Denver and Grand Junction can be completely different animals.
  6. I met my Mom and Stepdad for lunch today. It was like 62/63 degrees and DP in low 40's at noon. Mom was complaining it was cold, I told her it felt exactly like a July day visiting her grandson in Colorado.
  7. Hey, you got two months on time....... Averaged high for the month was 78.4 degrees vs normal of 74.4 degrees, a +4.0 above average. Warmest temp was 87.1 degrees on the 29th. Averaged low was 54.8 degrees vs a 48.0 degrees, a +6.8 above average. Coldest temp was 36.8 degrees on the 15th. Overall temp for the month was 66.6 degrees vs a normal of 61.2 degrees, a +5.4 above average. Total rainfall for the month was 2.75 inches vs a normal of 4.11 inches, a -1.36 below normal. The largest rainfall for the month was .56 inches on the 13th. There were 14 days with measurable, 3 days with a 'T' and 14 days that were dry. The highest wind recorded was 31 mph on the 30th. There were 4 new records set, all warm minimums on the 5th, 10th, 11th and 27th.
  8. Set new record 'cool max' highs last two days here, something has fell from the sky everyday except two since start of the month, 1.82 inches in total. Currently setting at -2.1 for the month on temps.

  11. BIL is 99% sure he had a tornado go thru about 30-40 minutes ago. Has a 100-150 wide path shearing off trees and damaging roofs! Hail about a quarter too. He is about 20 miles east of Roanoke near a community called Goodview. EDIT-he got HOME at that time, storm was before 6 pm.

  16. Was there on 13th and 14th, you're running two weeks behind me lol. Did you try to get to the top? Road was closed above 9000 foot when I was there. Did you do the cave tour?

  20. Yeah, son texted this am, right at 10 inches in the yard, he said between 12-18 fell at tops of peaks in the area. I told him A-basin should make a run for a July 4th closing lol! EDIT- (found this out while there last week) For those that do ski/snowboard some major changes are announced/happening in the Breckenridge area. Breck itself has pledged to stay open as long as possible, with closing dates now being Monday, Memorial Day EACH YEAR. Keystone, which invested heavy in new snowmaking gear, has pledged to give A-Basin a run for earliest opening. So there should be skiing/boarding available at several resorts in the area from mid October thru end of May each year, with the outliner A-Basin staying open as long as possible into June usually.
  21. Yeah, son texted about an hour ago, 10 new inches of snow with another 1-3 in forecast. Crazy. I told him A-basin may make July 4th this year at the rate it is going.
