  1. Well, it is a month out, so possible... It SURE would fix/cure a lot of the angst out there.
  2. No snow right at my location, but the tops of the mountains are whitened and it rained here for about 40 minutes as temp dropped from 41 to 37 here.
  3. It was 22 here this morning, and it definitely looked like snow, even had some returns (virga) on radar move through... but nada.
  4. Added another 0.2 to my 'snow totals' for the year, I think 90% has been sleet so far and still haven't reached an inch with 6 events! Nuts. I had a wintery mix of freezing rain/sleet and snow from a little after noon thru early evening, greatest amount on ground was around 6 pm when big clumpy graupel mixed in with sleet for about 20 minutes. Temp hung at 30-32 all day and then warmed up overnight to melt majority of what I did have on ground and in trees. Currently 34.8/32.0 and cloudy.
  5. A couple more 'pennies' to add. Sheesh 12/16 0.2 12/22 0.1 12/24 0.1 12/28 0.1 01/09 0.2 Total 0.7
  6. There is a reason the saying is 'warm/wet cold/dry, repeat'
  7. Just enough snow and sleet to coat the decks and driveways earlier. Now a few sprinkles and occasional sleet pellet and 29.0/27.7.
  8. I'll have some of what p05 and p22 are smoking please...
  9. I can understand the angst in the LR model forum, I mean, we ARE running +17 to +20 through the area in prime winter season, if we were -17 to -20 the first 4 days of June with a possible warm streak swiped away on a model and back to rain and 50's it would be the same.
  10. That is a BRUTAL cutoff just to my south...

  14. ^^ I would be in favor of the above happening ^^
  15. I have freezing fog this morning, 28.8/27.5 currently, visibility under 0.2 mile. Deck was quite slick when I walked out!
  16. Well that didn't last long. After peaking at 55.4 at 3:17 pm down to 40.0 currently..... Edit, now 39.4 2 minutes later.
  17. Something happened a bit ago that hadn't since the 9th of this month, thermometer went over 50! Currently 55.3 degrees at 3 pm.
  18. Yep, the chemicals reacting to the warmer air on the colder road, basically sweating....
  19. This has happened in the past but a legit question. This morning when I got off work it was foggy/hazy looking. As I drove home I noticed....SNOW!! Yes, it was snowing from an almost clear sky. Now I have a pretty good idea what it was living here for over 50 years. Papermill snow. It is/was only 2nd time I've seen it at my current location, but when I lived closer to town (and mill) when growing up it would happen 3 or 4 times a year when it got cold enough. I reported nothing in my CoCoRaHS report and emailed them asking what I should do. But, what would YOU do? It IS falling from the sky, it does cover the ground and fill the gauge.... BTW, when I looked at the 'night satellite' images between 6 and 8 this morning there was a nice 'streamer' going thru the county and right over the house.
  20. Yep, I love cold, but not wind. I'll take a calm -25 low -5 high day over a blustery +10 low 28 high day anytime.
