  1. You can't do that to Short Pump.
  2. Wouldn't be surprised if that northern stripe above the PA line doesn't extend east in future runs.
  3. Day 15 and look what the Gfs still has over Greenland. Lol Not saying it's right, but that feature just doesn't want to leave. https://www.pivotalweather.com/model.php?m=gfs&p=500h_anom&rh=2025010218&fh=366&r=nh&dpdt=&mc=&pwplus=1
  4. Closed wave passing to our south (central VA) was 2/10/10.
  5. Hey, it's a weekend. What are we doing? Of course it's going to snow bigly!
  6. Radar returns creeping north. I vote yes. Don't know the extent of it tho. https://www.pivotalweather.com/model.php?m=gfs&p=refcmp&rh=2025010218&fh=204&r=conus&dpdt=&mc=&pwplus=1

  8. Gunna be real close. N stream heading down and starting to interact at 192hrs
  9. That's because of this vort at 96. It opens up 6 hours later, but still vigorous.
  10. Fyi, precip panels from Icon ensembles. Look at the precip in PA vs DC/BWI. Operational Icon on crack.
  11. Now that's covering your azz.
  12. Having a real hard time buying into this 1-2" stuff. But, hopefully I'm wrong. It's tough when you become a crotchety, old entitled man, but I've come to embrace it.
  13. Meh. There's always a reason for any area of the MA to fail if you're looking for one. I don't think an unproven, experimental model would be my choice imho.
  14. Gfs https://www.pivotalweather.com/model.php?m=gfs&p=snku_acc-imp&rh=2025010212&fh=36&r=us_ma&dpdt=&mc=&pwplus=1
  15. I should note, Icon has this from tomorrow's clipper and would be deducted from the map I posted, which results in a hellava even distribution across the area. https://www.pivotalweather.com/model.php?rh=2025010212&fh=72&dpdt=&mc=&r=us_ma&p=snku_acc-imp&m=icon
  16. Snow should wrap back around with that 5H
  17. That's not bad https://www.pivotalweather.com/model.php?m=icon&p=500hv&rh=2025010212&fh=102&r=conus&dpdt=&mc=&pwplus=1
  18. Precipitate water looks like a nice injection incoming too.
  19. Nam is pretty good with temps, upstairs and down, when inside 24hrs. Occasionally, it gets it right at longer ranges. The problem is, it's unreliability keeps you guessing whether this is the time it'll be right at 48-60 hours or not. At least, that's my weenie assessment.
  20. Don't get me wrong, it's a dream depiction for just the reason you stated. I've just found, at least when I lived near BWI, it often over forecasted snow to my despair. Lol
