  1. We'll have to do something about that then, won't we.
  2. My wife occasionally watches the local news with Finkbiener (sp?) and says he's pretty good. But we haven't been up here with a nail biter snow threat like this one. Idk what he's said as of now because she hasn't been watching any local news lately.
  3. Honestly, I have not watched local tv for weather, when I lived in MD or here, since PD2 in 2/03.
  4. Gfs still has the extended period of snow into Sunday as the trailing 500mb energy swings thru.
  5. Gfs better imby and a little cooler. No rain in s central PA.
  6. Incorrect. Once the run completed and I checked, it is lighter with qpf hence lighter snowfall. Apparently not enough dark blues on the panels.
  7. Icon continues to hold on to light snow for another 6-12 hours, depending on location, after the main batch is thru by 1AM Sunday.
  8. Man, is that ever sweet in our backyards.
  9. Same movie as with 6z. Operational goes off on one of its wild tangents and ensembles bring us back to reality, for better or for worse. In this case, as at 6z, for better.
  10. Still like my initial thoughts from yesterday morning that 4-8" seems most likely for most of forum, with an upside of 6-10".
  11. Lots of mix or even some rain in eastern areas there too. Inland different story as usual.
  12. Still believe it's the outlier of the Euro suite. Too amped as usual.
  13. Euro as amped, if not more. Gets me into mix. Plenty of time.
  14. If 6z Euro was a little less amplified, that would have been a big hit. Let's see if 12z calms down some. I think it will.
  15. Gfs seems to be stringing out the 5H energy instead of keeping it in 1 piece, hence the lingering lt snow for a day.
  16. Meh...i hate those things. I feel I'm looking at bar codes.
  17. Nam was trash, but its ensembles , SREF, were not. I'll let you explore if interested at this link. https://www.pivotalweather.com/model.php?m=srefens&p=sfcwind_mslp-mean&rh=2024010309&fh=87&r=conus&dpdt=&mc=&pwplus=1
  18. I always seem to forget that part of the forum and only look west. My bad.
  19. With the slp on the Rgem to our SE moving NE, we don't need to worry about any warming at any level imho.
