There still seems to be a squall line and heavy rain to our south and west that should come thru in a few hours if it holds together. So far windy and showery but nothing as predicted. Lots of heavy rain to the south and east over the ocean.
Some models seem to be indicating the last part of the month may not be so mild, possibly below normal. To me when you get past 240 hours things can change often on the models. Just a few days ago there was a more mild end of the month.
It is incredible what a short distance can make in the lake effect. Buffalo has been just a few miles from very heavy snow and as of now has been basically snow free.
Here is live webcam from Watertown NY. for anyone interested. The snow has started but has not accumulated much yet. They are expecting at least a few feet by Monday.
