My temperature was rising and got up to 24.2 but now it has dropped back down to 23.2 and still seems to be dropping

My temperature as the snow picked up in intensity went from 15.6 to 15.2. I guess this indicates the warm nose has not infiltrated my area yet.

Temperature dropping fast, down to 24, about 10 degrees in past 2 hours.

They actually just changed it to 8-12 on Sunday and 1-3 on Sunday night. So they have not backed off those totals yet.

This should be a good nowcast storm. So many variables. Long Island looks to be good up front snows, then sleet or freezing rain and back to snow.

I realize everyone is focused on this weekends storm and for good reason, but the cold could be more historic. NYC has a possibility of breaking the longest streak of below 32 temperatures. Also looks like January will be the coldest in at least 10 years.

No matter what happens with snow accumulations from this storm, it should stick around a while with all the cold air behind it. Not the case with many big storms we've had.

1 and 1/4 inch tonight, 3/4 this morning for 2 on the day. Temperature down to 31.

Yea radar looked worse here than what was also. Although colder air is moving in so the flakes are bigger so maybe get a little more accumulation.
