  1. Yes a dud as far as snow goes but at least it was colder than normal (although not by much), rare in recent years.
  2. The weather may cause the fires to be more severe by having more dry conditions that adds fuel to the fire. Except for lightning, the fires are set by people or things like power lines. The vast majority of the fires would probably never exist if it wasn't for human intervention of some kind.
  3. At my house June of this year was a degree cooler than last year and July a degree warmer than last year.
  4. Not really because two years ago was the same as last year. However, there is still 5 months to go this year but so far so good.
  5. The streak continues at Central Park with every month this year being chillier than last year. Glad to see this seeing last year was record warmth.
  6. Brisk NE wind has made it feel much better outside.
  7. Approaching an inch of rain here, just in the past 40 minutes or so. Still pouring
  8. How about the days when people burned their leaves. Now that created some smokey conditions.
  9. Sun has popped back out here and the temperature has gone up to 88, did not expect this warmth.
  10. As warm as this month has been, it will be the first month this year that will be warmer than the same month last year, at Central Park. Of course Last year was a record warm year. Also this month will be warmer than last July by only a tenth or so.
  11. Yea, really doesn't make much difference anyway, 96 or 98.
  12. 96 here was 98 earlier. Wind SSE giving a little relief.
