Humidity was lighter today than I expected, though 2m dews kinda confirmed that yesterday. Incoming batch of precip to Frederick…assuming it holds.

I’ve actually been surprised by the several boomers we’ve had here in Frederick, especially in the cooler weather we’ve had. There hasn’t been much areawide action I guess, but I feel like we don’t usually start cookin until May…with June/July being the prime window.

It was spicy out there for this time of year, but pretty tolerable. We're capable of higher dews here...looks like tomorrow might be more humid, though with that might bring a chance of storms (tbd).

I have no interest in that. Do I need it to be 90? No…I’m pro-“I don’t like climate change”. But I would take this over the 50s pretty much any day…primarily because that is a stratus cloud producing temp range around here. I’ve noticed we do much better with sun when the temps are 70+.

If the As could actually afford to keep their talent, they’d be one of the greatest franchises of all time lol. Hopefully, the move…wherever that ends up being…helps with that part of the equation.

I confess…sitting out in the outfield sun was spicier than I expected. The prices at Camden yards have gotten spicy, too. I feel like they’ve gone up since I was there last time…which has been a couple years. Pretty good turnout, though.

Cloudy/cool mornings are acceptable…but cloudy/cool afternoons? Nah, I’m good on that. I guess the next question will be if we can score some storms this week.

Going to the Os game tomorrow. Grew up an As fan, but my first game was at Memorial Park and I’ve always appreciated the Os. Win/win situation.

lol yea, things have started green here in Frederick and streams are still flowin’ well. I’m assuming there’s some dry pockets around the area, but overall I would imagine we have some room to spare.

Temps look outstanding by Sunday. Hopefully we can snag some storms during the warmup.

It seems we're capable of 3 days in a row of sunshine. Music to my ears. Also, doesn't look like it rained last night which I'm ok with because I left my sunroof open.

Sunny today (win), looks like sun tomorrow (another win), but getting that 3rd day straight of sunshine is very difficult around here. So far, it looks like clouds/rain return on Wednesday. The main reason I look forward to summer is because we're generally out of the "all day cloudy/cool" vibe. With that said, having some rain to wash out what's been a pretty solid pollen year so far, is something I'm ok with.

It’s the clouds I could have done without…esp when it’s cool outside…though it was a good day to see the Flying Cows (Frederick’s new semi pro team). And I did cave by playing some hoops outside to finish the day…the sun made an appearance around dinner time. I made it work.

I want it to be 88, humid, hazy, and swampy with afternoon storms every 3 days. I’m 100% all in on a classic dc summer.

Today's weather was primo...nice, warm temps with occasional storms to keep things interesting, but not enough rain up this way to keep me off the courts. This is what I'm here for.

Frederick is a rain magnet…the opposite of last year.

Rooting for a NW flow around here is suspect. It's probably my least favorite type of weather pattern...typically leads to dry and/or cloudy and/or breezy and/or wildfires. I'd rather live in the desert (southwest is on my radar) where that kind of weather just makes sense. Around here, this area is lush...or supposed to be. We need a dominant sw to easterly flow/storms/humidity with occasional frontal passages, not the other way around.
