Extremely successful stat padder event. Drove through some showers and walked through puddles en route to work this morning.

It was pouring for a few minutes when I left Columbia…I work by the mall. Looked like some isolated cells, but was surprised to see it.

This last batch has been more tame. The earlier storms were tropical downpours. Still a great event and needed. Next weekend is gonna look green around here.

Schaeffer Farms is about have mini rivers.

That area looks dark to the west. Almost like the edge of a tropical storm.

Looking at RadarScope again I think it’ll scoot to my west, but I’ve heard rumbles in the distance, so who knows.

It's actually getting weird...the cell by Brunswick is heading ne while almost every storm has gone nw. This area has been a storm magnet today.

These aren't wimpy showers either...basically torrents. Judging by satellite, we might get a reprieve for a few hours before the next round later.

This weather system is an ideal combination of warm temps, humidity, rain, clouds, and sun. This is really becoming one of the more enjoyable spring seasons I've experienced in a while.

Not sure what the total has been imby, but this has been a phenomenal event here. Feels great to have a return of humidity after several years of Iowa.

It looks noticeably more green up here than the majority of the last few years. Today's rainfall will only help.

A little T&L, but mostly a beautiful downpour. And judging by the radar, I won’t be biking Little Bennett tomorrow. I think that’s their 2nd round incoming today.
