  1. Awful, sorry to hear this. He always seemed like a very nice person. RIP
  2. Especially after making your opinion and boredom known numerous times. You're on the record and your work is done
  3. Finally getting rates and snow. Beautiful parachutes. No accum 35
  4. I'm still at home in Harford Co where it has only been rain imby. 38. Heavier precip on the way.. Heading to Columbia in a couple hours, so tragically missing the deathbanding there.
  5. Just caught up on like 4 pages, and despite the troll, and consistent warnings from our own throughout, I don't think a single poster is delusional about today. Little sad, actually. Bittersweet, not being delusional.
  6. Minor quibble but I would've have gone with BAC in this analogy I'll be in HoCo as of tomorrow evening. Should be good for an extra inch or 3 of snowmap Edit: semi-ninjad by Randy. I'm chasing that deathband
  7. Moving this here since the first rumble of spring counts as severe thread worthy (doesn't it?). Had rain, thunder, and lightning nearby per Radarscope about an hour ago. Cleared and sun out now.
  8. Seriously wtf. Kind of fun though, and no stress. Just to sit and marvel at it.
  9. High of 73. Had a great ramble in the woods this afternoon. Not that green here yet. Almost weird to see the sun! Many turtles were out enjoying it. Frog chorus also going strong.
  10. Saw my first forsythia blooms in Columbia the other day.
  11. Hair is an actual weather instrument. (Hairometer?)
  12. High of 71, mostly cloudy. Glorious sunset in progress.
  13. Cloudy and 55 currently
  14. Fine powdered sugar decktopper achieved. The dead leaves on the grass are whitening. Enjoying the view I expected nothing. Snow is always welcome.
  15. Heard it again but had an obstructed view atm, then heard again in the late afternoon from indoors. Missed again. Otoh...I randomly saw a pair of hawks mating in a tree! Heard a ruckus, looked up, flipped out. Red-shouldered? It was quick. Also saw a cormorant later. Since Ive been grumpy-posting about March and winter's end, I will say today was a nice example for a good March day, barely cracked 50 (high 52), sunny, light winds, very refreshing! I was surprised how much snow was hanging on in certain shaded stretches in the neighborhood.
  16. Think I just heard an osprey. No visual. Time for a lunchtime mini hike. 45
  17. Warm-ish March is fine if we must. Torching March = mud + mosquitos. Terrible.
  18. Both POS but your thread had more entertainment value
  19. Good case, Maestro. Also "a half beat too slow" lol wtf. Tough crowd
