1.62 last 24 hours, 1.3 came in about 30 minutes yesterday. Fun facts from the my weather station. May 2025 had 2526 minutes of rain, or roughly 42 hours with 7.02” October 2024 had 32 minutes of rain with .06” of rain.

Quick shower, temp dropped from 83 to 75. Sun trying to poke out again. Hard pass on severe after two weeks ago here.

Video from last Fridays storm, GW parkway Southbound, driver gets off on Morningside. Intense! This is just north of where the fatality was on the parkway.

26 hours of no power. Maybe tomorrow at noon is the latest estimate. I think that is doubtful, basically have to rebuild new lines and poles for about 2 miles of infrastructure along fort hunt road.

No power since 6pm, many trees down in the area, 2 dead after trees fell on them, one on GW parkway, unclear where the other fatality was near on route one. Terrible day.

Just measured 15” of melted snow and still coming down.

1.06” so far. Puddles are no joke, was in old town for lunch and it’s been a long time since I had to jump over puddles that big. Think I pulled something, so decided to go home and drink beer there. Have to say shoveling this sh!t would have sucked!
