    I didn’t know whether to put a laugh or sad face emoji. Laugh until they would lose the first playoff game, lol. Anyway maybe I will at least get enough snow with this storm to beat anything last winter.

    If the storm ends up stronger than the models show today, we still have a chance. Needs to have a lot go just right. Easy to give up based on how things have been lately, but still worth following.

    I’d like to see it a little more suppressed right now but it is finally something to track. Would be hard to have another winter as bad as last winter.

    Not too bad in Royersford - heavy rain, wind not terrible and some lightning. Appears I just avoided the worst.

    My area has had 3 severe thunderstorm warnings already today. Some wind caused a brief power outage in the hotel.

    Yesterday was gorgeous! Outside of winter, it is the kind of day I love. Doesn’t look like many of those ahead so better enjoy it. Maybe it made those mosquitos that got me go away for a bit.

    There’s a severe thunderstorm warning for northwestern Montgomery County. Warning says to also remain alert for a tornado. Right now not for my location.

    I’m hard of hearing, so I don’t mind it being loud. But yes, I can see rushing to turn it down. It said “you are in imminent danger,” and yes I dropped some things I was doing at the time. I ended up with little more than some rain. I feel lucky.

    Scary - loud alert came on my phone and we are in a hotel that doesn’t seem to have much protocol. My mom and I just went to the lobby area. I still am in the Royersford area. Luckily they canceled this warning.

    Really loud thunder clap at the hotel. Would have woken me up if sleeping. Earlier the electricity was out briefly but came back luckily - would have ruined my first night.

    No, staying at Staybridge Suites until I find a new permanent place. Will probably end up nearby. Winters here are indeed a little weaker than the area average. I also at least at my house miss a lot of the worst severe storms.

    I am rooting for an underperformer. I don’t like severe weather to begin with and am starting my move today.

    It’s no exaggeration to say that was the worst storm I had since the 90s. Only thing missing was wind. I think I got it right before things turned more tornadic.

    Yep it was pretty scary

    Just got hail but luckily not much wind. Lightning was nasty and very heavy rain.
