  1. Heavy, wind driven snow in Royersford. Best scene I’ve had all winter.
  2. I don’t like it because of the heat, humidity, severe storms, etc. But everyone is different. At least we’ll have baseball. I’ll just enjoy the 2-4 inches coming down hard for a while tomorrow, if I even get that much.
  3. Mostly all rain here. Another disappointment. If Saturday doesn’t work out, might as well stay mild.
  4. Yes, it could happen. There’s supposed to be cold air available with the right track. Odds aren’t high, but could be a last chance.
  5. Yes the wind seemed to get worse behind the squall line. Happily, no power outage though.
  6. Still looks like a chance of snow mid month, but if not, spring can start as long as we don’t go into severe season early. Last summer in our region felt like we were in the Midwest.
  7. A window in mid and possibly late March. Maybe we’ll get a rogue big storm in an otherwise mild month like the Old Farmer’s Almanac predicted. Those publications are never reliable, but it does seem like it might be that kind of month. If not, I’m ready for spring and hoping for a better winter for my location next winter. NYC wasn’t too bad.
  8. Power’s back. Hope it stays. Looks pretty icy except for main road through the neighborhood.
  9. Soon after I posted that, the power went off. Using cell service. It happens every time there’s anything even little around here - outage. Peco, get your act together!
  10. How much of a threat in my area do you see? Any danger of power outages?
  11. I have a Winter Weather Advisory for up to an inch of snow and sleet followed by up to .2 of an inch of ice.
  12. Yep, hope we all cash in. This time of year, you never know when your last chance will be.
  13. Good run for your area, MJO. Here we still need some shifts to get less ice and more snow.
  14. That’s true. Something else to keep in mind.
  15. Well if we do get an ice storm, this time a year it doesn’t usually take too long to warm up and melt
  16. How are the other models now looking for frozen in our region?
  17. Probably somewhere in the middle. NYC and PHL could easily get a few inches, with just north getting more.
  18. Power went out here briefly, but then it caused a power surge and had to trip a couple circuits. Some lights were on and some off. That almost never happens.
  19. I’ve always hated the heat, but I am in my 40s now so yes extended cold isn’t my favorite if without snow.
  20. It would be different if he actually would be here and enjoy the snow events, but I don’t remember a time he did. It’s just warm/no or less snow posts up to the event.
