  1. Interesting. Yes, the GFS showed rain, but its evolution was still different than the other models.
  2. It’s still well early enough for corrections. I did like seeing the GFS east. I hope they don’t all go to a cutter and stay there - we have seen that happen a lot.
  3. I’m definitely excited - the last White Christmas in Philly was in 2009 - but correct that we still need a lot of features in place to get a MECS/BECS.
  4. My thoughts are with them. December tornadoes again. My region was hit bad last year (2021) but fortunately I avoided everything but some flooding nearby.
  5. Hopeful for sure. People were talking about late December being more favorable.
  6. Yeah might even be some down where we are even if sleet. Hoping to at least get something measurable.
  7. Snow? I don’t have the Euro maps. Thanks for the updates.
  8. True. I still think we have a decent chance for snow in the next couple weeks.
  9. GFS is a bit Grinchy overall. Colder before cutters and rain through Christmas.
  10. I’ll take Ensemble member 20
  11. Any worry about wind or severe storms from the hurricane remnants?
  12. I’m not the biggest 15 degree fan but I personally like it more than 100 degrees. I prefer good snow temps and snowy winters.
  13. Agree about the humidity being the worst. Summer is my least favorite season, but is more bearable when dry.
  14. This board used to have a lot of cold and snow fans. I am one. I usually hate hot or well above average weather, and with climate change, it only frustrates me more.
  15. So are we expecting around 1-2 inches of rain from this? Too cool for many severe storms?
  16. Well that should help any drought here with those totals. Was kind of a quiet deluge though as didn’t seem it was raining that much.
  17. It will certainly feel better than it has felt in September, even if it becomes another above average month.
  18. Luckily the GFS tends to be too warm in the extended like it tends to be too cold in the winter. But unfortunately for people like me, doesn’t look like a change from the warmth and heat until after Labor Day.
  19. Anything severe in these storms around the area? Lightning was within 4 miles of my location according to my weather app.
  20. I usually don’t like storms but it is so dry both in your region and here.
  21. We need it! Hoping to see more of it in your analysis posts soon.
  22. Yeah it has been a while with such a long stretch. And an eventual cooldown to the upper 80s will only be limited relief.
  23. Whether it is or isn’t, it is still a milestone to get to September IMO. Maybe we’re due for a cooler one.
  24. Agree. I personally hope for a cooler summer, but met summer just started. Can’t September even have our hottest temperature?
  25. Yeah, it seems like many storms strengthen and hit NJ the hardest. Hopefully it will just me mild tornadoes if the region gets more. Last year with the EF3s and EF2s was unusual.
