    I hate the heat coming up, but it has been so cool I can’t complain much. Severe Thunderstorm Watch is up.

    Ended up with very heavy rain but little severe here - likely some flooding in the area. I wanted a late night snack at Wawa but they closed on DoorDash.

    Quite unlikely. Temps would have to be far colder than forecasted. It can still snow this time of year but not feeling any more this season.

    I’m a winter fan and it goes by too quickly but I agree - ready for a break. Been sick for a while and the warm will help. Then would like one last winter storm before spring stays,

    Thanks, good to see the writeups. Maybe the pattern needed to break down a little to get a storm to hit.

    I’ll still follow it here but I have no expectations. A late surprise would be nice but unlikely.

    Well that was a major letdown. Now it looks like nothing. Will we even get any more chances before spring? If not very fitting the way storms have been all winter.

    Was the EPS worse than the OP? People in the NYC forum didn’t like it.

    I do, too. Could be wrong but the correction was just so much that it seems too much.

    I’m waiting until this storm moves out. Got too invested to give up yet.

    Waiting until the current storm goes by to get heartbroken again. Can’t believe the GFS isn’t even major in DC though. Frustrating.

    I just didn’t want to think that low yet but yes even that would be my biggest. Have not had more than 3-4 inches in a storm.

    It’s just a feeling but I don’t think this misses. Maybe 6-12 inches instead but I will take that.

    We had a period from 2010-2016 where they were more common but they aren’t everyday things.

    Now 1.5-2 feet events are quite rare so obviously we have to be cautious - buf MJO is right that big potential is there.

    GFS still hinting at a major storm next week? Haven’t been able to check.
