    Yep tracking is fun only if you let yourself have these ups and downs. I’ve learned to be entertained and deal with it.

    I’d just like to see ANYTHING look like that today. I would love a huge storm to end this winter but have to wonder if GFS is just doubling down on nonsense.

    Well there’s a first time for everything. Have to think a grazer or miss at this point but still potential to follow this far out.

    Agree, as long as we keep expectations in check with this setup it will be fun to track.

    I’ve learned after all my time here that the models just can’t stay steady at this range as much as we want them to. We’ll track again tomorrow.

    There’s time but I’d like to see the Euro at least showing some kind of hit by tomorrow. Lots of potential and would make this winter one of the best.

    1-3” will be a nice little refresher. But I’m satisfied with this winter due to prolonged cold, prolonged snowpack and a 10”+ storm here. More snow is a bonus. Yes, may not get a 12-24” this winter, but those are rare.

    When you gave up on the storm I thought it was done, but last second trends have happened before. Was hoping for better from the CMC. We need bigger shifts at this point.

    It usually takes me until April to be ready for spring due to how short the season is (December is usually when we get our first true winter weather) and my appetite for snow. If we cash in during the upcoming period, I would be more ready early. I like the fact we got a good winter - have had enough mild ones lately that some I talk to seem to forget what it’s like.

    I’ve been wondering that. I remember 1994 was cold, but not sure about the length of the cold stretches.

    Same here. Not expecting anything at this point but keeping an eye out.

    GFS didn’t quite round the corner enough for us but still kept hope going for sure.

    At least it is definitely in the right direction. Today is a big day for seeing any trends.

    Still time to be a good hit, but it is a volatile setup according to what’s being posted, Need quite a few pieces to be in place. Still not dug out from this storm either.

    Still snow in Royersford. Haven’t measured but looks like at least the 7 to 8” being reported by others. Good storm with very fine snow.

    That’s true. So far this winter has surprised in good ways so maybe that continues.

    Might as well stick to it. I’m a lot older now than when I first joined here and sleet/ice is no fun at all.

    My forecast says 7-13”. 7” could happen with a lot of sleet. Higher totals with less sleet would actually be easier to deal with.

    Still calling for 6-10” here though may still be higher if the mix line is off. Seems some compromising is happening on the models.

    Wow - didn’t expect that. Is this even more than the GFS.?
