    I was thinking 10-12” before, but 7 to 8 may be more likely now.

    Overall except for the NAM doesn’t look so bad tonight. Maybe the GFS is the right one for a change.

    I think there’s definitely a path. Hard to nail down that warm tongue and air temps are very cold. I personally think it was an off run from the NAM. If it does that again tonight and we see some trending, then I’ll worry.

    The NAM looked similar for a while and then maybe showed its range. I remember it before some big storms it scared people. Just have to let the runs play out.

    I wouldn’t trust it unless it gets support. The NAM can be prone to extreme runs both ways.

    Sounds good for now - could get a little more but likely not less than 6”.

    Ukie did have a dry slot limiting totals a bit but the sleet comes late.

    Not so sure we get that much sleet. The UKMet looks like extended snow also.

    Maybe we do get a compromise, which would still be nice. The floor for this one looks to be 6 inches plus sleet which is a high floor.

    Is the GFS just slower? Looks ok in the map I saw in the MA forum.

    Most models are saying at least 8 which is pretty significant. I think 8-12 inches for all the big cities.

    I like the fact that models are slightly weaker with the primary. Could lead to close to the GFS eventually. It should be at least 6-12 inches area wide regardless.

    It can definitely overamp but the possibility of some sleet is real. Still should be a good front end regardless.

    It’s just not as amped as some but gets decent snow here. Looks like more Monday.

    Still a significant snow and heard the EPS looked better. So hope that’s a good sign for the 0z runs.

    With that high pressure, how much north do you think this could get? I would imagine snow totals will still be significant.

    Yes we don’t have much more wiggle room before sleet comes into play. Hopefully just an overdoing it by the CMC and UKMet.

    Surprised no one said it yet - GFS caught up big time!

    Not yet. If we see this trend throughout the day there may be some concern.

    I figure I got 3 inches yesterday, 2 this morning and maybe another inch later today. Nice extended snow.

    A couple inches here in Royersford. A little colder than I expected so it is sticking. Still snowing moderately.

    Yes the big blizzard shown was very likely unrealistic but wouldn’t count out a SECS just yet.

    I’m not yet. But even a little snow after this warm break would be nice.
