I agree. 6” in the city is very likely. I personally wonder about the N solutions because of the confluence. But we’ll see. I better at least prepare for 10-12”+ here in Royersford.
I’m always afraid to get too excited about a blizzard or MECS this early, but I do think it looks good for at least 6” Philly N&W. Doesn’t look like the cutoff would be in this region, and even with a mix we’d get decent totals.
I’m sure they will be changeable, but as someone said, until we get evidence close in it is a safer bet to bet on milder. Appreciate your posts and look forward to updates.
Sunday probably a cold rain for the big cities. We’ll keep watching after that to see if we can finally get the pattern to cooperate. Feels good to at least be tracking chances again.
I definitely think there would be more congregating in warm weather (Thanksgiving is a big travel holiday) and I disagree even more about Christmas. I never want a warm Christmas.
That is when we really start wanting it to get colder anyway. I always want a snowy winter and cold holiday season, but it wouldn’t be the worst thing this year to have a mild winter if it helps with COVID.
I hope it is right. Haven’t had many breaks this summer. I am not sure the warm pattern lasts past mid month. And at least then, even warmer days have less 90s potential.
I am not sold on a warm pattern lasting through Halloween. I personally think we get a period of below normal lasting more than a few days.
How about those Yankees! I am a Phillies fan, but my grandmother who I was very close to used to root for the Yankees. So I have never minded them.
Hi, Snow11 - thanks for adding me as a friend. I'm doing pretty well - how about you? Have a great Thanksgiving. Hope we get our first snow soon after.
