  1. 78 now after reaching high of 93...sea breeze moved thru about 5pm lowering temp and raising dew point.
  2. Still raining, up to 0.35".
  3. With a mean temp of 79.8° this July tied with 2020 as my 3rd warmest in 45 years, beaten only by 1999 and 2010. Precip of 1.77" so far would come in at 6th driest.
  4. Nice day today with an 85/66 temp split. Little cooler than yesterday as winds went onshore.
  5. Little late, but had a 91° high yesterday.

  7. Got a quick 0.50" with the t storm that moved thru.
  8. Yeah it's a pretty suburban location.
  9. That "Fresh Kills" station is in the town of Travis on Staten Island btw and is just a stones throw from my station.
  10. Better than nothing but not a whole lot here on si... 0.29" on the west shore and 0.45" in Meiers Corners section. Did fall short of 90° though at 88°.
  11. Certainly the warmest morning in our current heat wave, 81° here in suburbia at 5 am.
  12. 100° west shore si again today...still 90° currently.
  13. These areas have also been the driest...probobly is a reason also.
  14. Don't believe I'll see a pronounced seabreeze front move this far west like I did the past two days..that was a little unusual for my area with a hot w wind.
  15. Yeah July 22nd 2011... 104° hottest I've ever recorded.
  16. Made it to 100° here, first time in ten years. Made it just before seabreeze moved thru...went from 100/58 to 97/68 in a flash.
  17. Not saying every station has done it but enough of the area including my station has been close to 100 ° now for four days...heat index numbers may be a bit lower with the lower dew points but still advisory numbers.
  18. Came close here also last three days with 98,99 and 98 degree highs.
  19. 98° high...sea breeze moved in around 3:30 and dropped temp down to 90°....Dew point went from 60 to 69 with wind shift.
  20. 99° for the high today...dew points did drop a bit into the 60's as the storms past to the north.
