Interesting day yesterday... Extreme heat, cold front with t storms, smoke shield and, goes east outage...all at about the same time no less.

Heavy rain in castleton corners section with thunder gusty winds, nothing at station on West shore yet. High temp of 97° now down to 80°. Quick 0.40".

Nearby mesonet gusted to 63 mph... 40 on my rooftop. Don't know how we managed to get just 0.01" of rain from that but....don't see much rain from any stations.

Back on now after about 2 hours but it's definitely on reduced voltage.

Not too often I beat all the official stations but my 105° high temp is now my highest on record. Nearby pws and mesonet stations agree.
