  1. Under a tornado warning here. Storm should be here in a half hour or less.
  2. Looking like you may be in line for a heck of a rainfall event. Ominous looking radar to be sure. Looks like we're gonna get smoked here. All depends on where the meso vorts setup/track whether we get the high-end stuff or not.
  3. Dewpoint is up to 82 right now. Tis the season!
  4. Ended up finishing with 1.41" yesterday. Almost 3" for July now.
  5. Lightning is continuous with this line moving in. Amazing strobe show.
  6. Dew peaked at 81 here. Clinton and Sterling both hit 82. First wave of cells moving in crapped the bed but maybe another wave later tonight.
  7. The cu field overhead sorta has that ominous day of look to them. Let's roll.
  8. 80 degree dew currently. Didn't think we'd reach it till tomorrow so overperforming again. Heat index is up to 106, up to 108 at MLI.
  9. Models that showed the complex of storms blasting down this way were incorrect. Just some 'heat lightning' in the northeastern skies for this area tonight. Next shot at anything comes Mon evening.
  10. Dews overperforming today with 77-78 so far. Corn is at max sweat as of late.
  11. Our first shot at a 80 degree dew comes on Monday. Will probably end up more in the 77-79 range but there's a shot at tagging 80.
  12. Ended up with 0.31" between yesterday and this morning's micro cell and anvil rains. Up to 1.53" for July.
  13. Picked up 0.12" from a micro cell late this afternoon.
  14. Had an ominous overcast all day but nary a drop of rain.
  15. Feels like one of those winter systems with a miss just southeast lol. Getting tropical remnants here is almost as difficult as getting lake effect snows though.
  16. Everything went around here yesterday and this morning. Glad we got that good soaking last week.
  17. As expected the Iowa convection is crapping out as it nears the MS river. Should get a little anvil rain to reinvigorate the crab grass.
  18. Ominous looking clouds have been lurking overhead all day, but they're all show and no go. May get a brief shower later this evening after the fireworks.
  19. So far for 2024 MLI has 12 90 degree days, 11 days here. Don't think we'll be adding to that any time soon.
  20. Nice steady soaker this evening with occasional rumbles of thunder. 0.73" so far. EDIT: Finished with 1.16"
  21. Short term guidance was spot on, as the severe warned band of storms is rapidly crapping the bed right at the MS river.
  22. Dews have shot up from the 50s this morning to the lower 70s currently. Right on the eastern edge of the severe threat. Not really expecting severe but hoping for a decent downpour before the storms crap the bed.
