  1. Guessing a sherrifnado was spotted nearby as the sirens are going off atm. Just dumping rain right now with occasional pea hail.
  2. A few brief showers so far with a total of 0.03". Some pretty big cells heading towards this area in the next hour or two.
  3. Not in our sub, but extremely impressive dry line out in the Plains this afternoon.
  4. Some models are showing multiple broken bands of storms tomorrow simultaneously. May be a challenge for those who wish to chase this event. Would love to be out there tomorrow giving it a go, but alas I'll be at work lol.
  5. Yeah we were down in Huntsville TX north of Houston. Glad we were there before the major heat set in lol
  6. Was in MO, OK, and TX all last week. Looks like mid summer down in TX. Up here it's greening up pretty nicely now. Several trees are starting to leaf out. Looking forward to some boomers Tue evening
  7. Nice soaker this morning with 0.26" already, and probably another 1/3-1/2" to go.
  8. Will be fishing in MO north of the track in the Ozarks. Saw totality back in 2017 though so I'm good.
  9. 1" of snow here on Tuesday. Took heavy rates to add up to that as the ground was wet and it was the middle of the day. That snow was completely gone by yesterday morning. Snowed much of yesterday but it didn't even dust the grass. Shows how hard it was coming down on Tuesday. Saw a few bursts of white rain earlier this afternoon.
  10. 2.11" of rain here since Sunday evening.
  11. Snowed pretty heavily once the rain switched to snow early this afternoon. Came down hard enough it covered the roads and paved areas. Picked up a little over an inch.
  12. 0.80" since last evening, with rain still ongoing. Should pick up another inch or so by the time it all ends.
  13. Broyles did the first day2 outlook early this morning, so wasn't surprised to see a major correction with the midday update. Good luck and be safe to all you guys out east tomorrow, looking pretty volatile.
  14. Have a shot at getting the most snowfall since mid January. All it has to do is make it to 0.4" to beat the 0.3" we received Feb 16th. The timing of the most intense snowfall may time up right for accumulation potential down this way, as the heaviest rates look to arrive before sunrise Wed morning. Up to a slushy inch looks possible on grassy/elevated areas.
  15. Nice thundery night. Picked up 0.12", and up to 3.18" for the month. Lawns are really greening up now. Seems several weeks ahead of 'normal'.
  16. Cleveland and Houlton Maine would be overrun like a Walking Dead herd.
  17. Had a little burst of graupel a short while ago. Top 2 snow event of March so far.
  18. Pouring pretty nicely, up to 0.43" already. Should get over an inch with this which is pretty welcome.
  19. More than likely the seasonal snowfall total of 27.0" here will be the final total, as I don't see much chance going forward for additional snowfall. 68% of the season's snowfall fell within a 5-day period with 18.4" during that mid-January stretch. Even though the total snowfall will end up being several inches below average the snowstorm on Jan 12th (13") made the winter. The extreme cold that immediately followed was icing on the cake. The rest of the winter was pretty benign from a winter storm tracking perspective, but at least we cashed in during the Jan stretch. I guess I'd give this winter a B.
