  1. Appears a much needed pattern change could be coming to close out October and open up November. As much as I’m loving the wall to wall sunshine, I’m jonesing for a wound up fall system.
  2. that will only further amplify the ongoing drought conditions. Looks dry for the foreseeable future once again. This really has to be one of the sunniest autumns I can ever recall, just wall to wall.
  3. Extended still looks zzzz. Take away those Helene remnants and I feel it hasn’t rained since August. Wonder what kind of ramifications this will have for winter?
  4. looking grim for rain until at least the middle of the month.
  5. No precipitation forecasted for the next 10-14 days, 90% of this sub will be abnormally dry or experiencing drought conditions by then. Without the Helene remnants that came through last Friday, we would be looking at 0.10” of rain since the end of August.
  6. Thank you. Their lives are irreplaceable and they are with us, that’s all that matters.
  7. Grandma and grandpa lost their house in western NC yesterday, family getaway home to be passed down to us grandkids and great grandkid, I’m numb. Thankfully, they are fine and at a shelter. Hurricane Helene will forever be embedded in our head.
  8. Pattern looks to continue for the foreseeable future, very warm and dry for the lakes.
  9. Rest of the month looks done dry for a majority of the sub.
  10. Next weeks forecast is why September and October are undefeated. Inject this weather in my veins year round.
  11. 89’d today. My favorite 2 month stretch of weather is coming. September and October are goated. Football starts next week, which means chili season is upon us.
  12. 91/72/99 here in the paign. Tomorrow should be the worst of the heat.
  13. Looks like a warmup next week followed by seasonable temps towards the end of next week. I could get used to these 70s during the day and 50s at night. Fall is quickly approaching.
  14. Steamrolling through what has been a pleasant summer. The highs for the next 7 days look extremely pleasant, with windows open kinda nights. Best climo.
  15. Legit question, how the heck is August 9 days away?
  16. 77 and mod rain on and off, one of the more miserable 4th of July’s in quite sometime.
  17. The cyclical nature of Mother Nature never ceases to amazes me. After a wet spring, the spigot has been turned off here, and in return the flash brought of the upper Midwest is raking in. I have friends in Mankato, interested to hear the flooding scenario.
  18. 92 in the paign. Hoping for full sun tomorrow. Pretty run of the mill heatwave, compared to what the euro showed last week.!
