  1. Back to back clippers to hopefully lay down 6-8” before the quick but intense arctic blast. The torch will not be denied. Looks like we will be starting 2026 with a clean palette.
  2. Same. Parking lot puddles and bare ground rearing its head again. Second half of December torch. December 2013 played out kind of similar too. Fingers crossed January and February are epic.
  3. It looked like it was going to over perform, congrats friend. This winter is truly spreading the wealth, it’s so awesome to see everyone get in on action.
  4. Tail end of next week looks bitterly cold. Definitely something to monitor in the coming days.

  6. Finished with 3.0” on the nose. Fun fact it’s December 2nd and Champaign has ALREADY surpassed our entire winter season snowfall totals from 2022-2023 and 2023-2024.
  7. I’ll take a 1-4” snowpack refresher tomorrow night. This glacier is gonna be around for a hot minute.
  8. Finished with 8.3” and a peak wind gust of 43mph, just an awesome awesome storm!
  9. The best part about this storm? It’s only November 29th. What a bang to start the winter season. Thundersnow was reported in Mahomet roughly 15 miles from Champaign. Such a good storm.
