Since April 1st it has rained 24 of the last 36 days. The flip next week is truly remarkable, with zero precip in my forecast and July like temps. I don’t even remember 2018 flip being this severe. Either way an entire week of dry and hot weather is fine with me. It’s been a miserable spring thus far.

Today was a carbon copy of yesterday, with a tad more clouds. Just top shelf weather for mid March. Rain moves in tomorrow, should green up the grass, which has taken off the last 24-36 hours.

Tagged 72, it’s rare to have virtually no breeze this early into spring and be this warm, today was top shelf. bring on green grass, and thunderstorms. side note, used the Blackstone and made Philly cheesesteaks, these things are awesome!

The coming week looks mild and dry, to be honest I’d be perfectly fine with an early spring. Hearing rumblings of a possible PV disruption, so let’s see what happens. March is my least favorite month out of the year, so hope it comes and goes in a blink.

41 and the drip drip is on. This weeks pattern looks like a wash rinse and repeat of last week. Regardless of what happens, the spring itch is coming very soon. I bought a black stone and I’m desperately ready to sit on the patio and cook.

we lived through misery for years. Take one on the chin bud, we did All jokes aside, I did not expect these conditions until About 24 hours ago, in fact I welcomed the northern crew getting the love. It’s fun outside, legit blizzard right now, okay okay I’m rubbing it in. Drinking a yummy ipa and just started the wood burning stove with a hot batch and of chili.

Champaign schools decided to stay open today, not exactly sure why, I called my son in. The roads are doing to be a disaster.

Jacksonville had 1/2” of snow in 20 minutes, so the 1-2”/hr rates are verifying. 30 and rain here, looks like it’s glazing on elevated surfaces, the trees are accruing ice.

Todays kids will never know the anxiety of waking up two hours before school started on a potential snow day, turning to the local station and watching the scroll bar on the bottom until your school popped up.
