    Holy sheeet! You have an 18” snow depth? Here in Champaign mines at 2”. Amazing what 2 hours north can do.

    Huge disappointment. Besides one 3” snowfall, the remaining 6.7” that has fallen has been from 1” events. The same looks to continue. Getting pixie dust right now.

    Snow band split Champaign to the north and the south, man it’s just absolutely brutal. Season total stands at 9.7”.

    It’s crazy what a 4 hr drive NW can do. 37” difference. You guys have had the hot hand, and I say let it ride. Congrats on the awesome winter.

    Run after run, storm after storm proving it’s just not my winter. Really disheartening to waste a pattern like this, I feel like everyone has been a snow magnet besides us in central Illinois-Indiana.

    Yep. Winds were and are ripping. Unfortunately nothing more than a cold rain here. Really hoping we can cash in on this upcoming pattern. I have 7.8” on the season.

    Yeah my focus has shifted to the storm next Thursday/Friday. If we get another cold rainer, I’m entering full punt mode for this winter.

    You Iowa folks have done pretty well this season, and have had the hot hand in the sub. Enjoy your 6-10” storm guys. It’s been pretty bad down here, besides the fluke system on 1/3 which dropped a very isolated heavy amount. My father who lives 20 miles south of me has around 4” on the season I believe.

    Mood flakes all day resulting in nothing more than a dusting. Some folks to my immediate south have 2-3” on the season. Pretty crappy winter so far.

    Been an eventful last 5 days here, between the 1/4” of ice on New Year’s Day, the overperformer on Saturday, and hoar frost/freezing fog all day today. Fun stretch, that’s for sure.

    My morning walk was awesome. The hoar frost was breathtaking.
