Absolutely. Colors are really exploding here. I bought the new iPhone 14 pro, which lets you shoot 48mp in proraw, I’m hitting the park this weekend with my AirPods. Always a peaceful and relaxing time.
Very very dry here. Interested to see what a 3rd year Nina delivers. I’m in the camp of a front loaded winter would be nice for a change of pace. I love snow for the holidays, and that’s been a rarity since the past decade.
Given the tranquil weather have to think farmers should have harvest finished earlier than normal this year, virtually nothing on the horizon in the next 7 days.
No news or clips coming out of Cape Coral, that’s never a good sign. My aunt is there and I’m increasingly worried for her, haven’t heard from her in over an hour.
edit: she just finally texted, said it’s still going gangbusters
In a group chat with my aunt and family in Cape Coral.. she just texted
“Here’s my address for insurance purposes just in case, I’m going to lose everything, this is really really bad”
Ending September with just an incredible stretch of weather. The last six weeks have been filled with lots of sunshine, seasonal temps, and cool nights.
Slowly but surely descending into my fall mood. August was truly just a gorgeous month filled with sunshine and cool nights. I’m ready for a batch of chili, football and no pumpkin flavored crap.
Can always tell when you’re getting later in the summer, when you can smell the corn in the air. We actually lost power this morning from the early morning storms. It’s august folks, the apple orchard opened up here. Just unbelievable how fast time goes.
It’s so dry here, and any beneficial rains are hard to come by. Not much rain in the next 7 days with another round of heat, will further exacerbate the drought problems here.
surprisingly the random pop up showers that drop minuscule rains are greening up the lawns.
