Heading into the driest part of the year, things can quickly spiral out of control. Corn is wilting here already.

92 here in the paign. Corn is starting to stress the earliest I’ve ever seen since the blazing summer of 2012

Should see another significant expansion next week as well. My 7 day highs 90,95,92,88,88,86,86. Very little chances for precipitation as well.

Make that two 92s in a row. This weekend the heat gets ratcheted up another few degrees.

Second place should hold. See nothing in far of precipitation for the foreseeable future. Incredible turnaround. The faucet has been turned off here, sprinklers are going and lawns are turning brown in sun exposed areas.

What can I say without sounding like a broken record? This weather is just *chefs kiss*. Blazin buffalo burgers and aloha brats on the grill and a topless jeep ride on the agenda today. Drought conditions should escalate over the coming two weeks with minimal rain chances and warm temps.

Mid 70s, no wind, full sun and grills going. Seriously folks, this IS the best climo. Tomato plants officially in the ground, and did some potatoes this year too.

74 sun and no wind. Just smoked a jalapeño cream cheese stuffed pork loin on the traeger, homemade pasta salad, cottage cheese and watermelon. We are fixing to feast. This weather is absolutely perfect.

Had heavy sleet this morning, after touching 82 on Saturday. Another brief warmup and then another weekend cooldown.

The most insane and harshest winter I’ve ever lived through. Thundersnow, Polar Vortex Blizzard, 11/17/13 tornado outbreak, multiple winter storms and record cold. 2013-2014 was legendary.
