  1. Got to imagine the big band entering southern MD and Fburg area is the progged frontogenesis. Could be fun...
  2. @ORH_wxman it’s remarkable how the column has hung on, even for low elevation spots. A big positive bust at any date, let alone mid November!
  3. Getting pingy again in greenbelt. Next yellow band approaching and CC radar lights it up. This about when that frontogenesis band should start rolling through.
  4. Figures. I died for nothin. They did report 0.1” earlier which is remarkable enough. And that was before an hour of mod snow where they had 0.08 liquid. I’m sure they’ll have a storm total of 0.2”.
  5. What!??? I’m dead. I’m posting from the afterlife.
  6. Yup. Yesterday’s 3k NAM also did well, particularly the 18z. Major win for this date. Hell, this will exceed some recent December monthly totals for MBY.
  7. What did you get on the March 21st storm this year? I had over 7” and our climo is pretty similar.
  8. Hmmm some flakes mixing back in here in greenbelt.
  9. Extrapolated 6z GFS looks epic. I’m ready for the next storm.
  10. Yeah you probably have some hope. Gonna rip for someone.
  11. PWS near my house still has room to cool based on the dew point. Should be below freezing for a few more hours at the surface at least.
  12. 12z NAM has the strong frontogenesis band move through from 17-21z from south to north. But soundings look pretty warm by that time.
  13. Looks like 1” or more at home per my wife’s pictures with sleet mixing back in. Question for all of us now is whether we get a switch back to snow with that strong frontogenesis band in a couple hours before switching to rain.
  14. The College of Dupage site has it. Weather.cod.edu
  15. Mix line showing up nicely on CC radar. Runs along 66 in VA and Rt 50 in MD. Not sure what’s south of there. Just sleet? I imagine we’re going to be rate dependent for the next couple hours.
  16. DCA reported 0.1” at 7am, so that’s the first measurable in Novie since forever.
  17. Holy crap. On the BW parkway and it’s + SN. Road mostly covered.
  18. lol blind squirrel, nut, etc. I’ll credit The King.
  19. Mostly snow with some sleet still in Columbia. Mulch, deck, and roof dusting. Temp is wetbulbing down.
  20. Flakes mixing in in Columbia. Deck is a bit white from sleet.
  21. @mattie g will be pleased to know I still have to go to work today
