  1. 15z hrrr looks great to me, let’s go!
  2. You all don’t have enough real data to actually talk about clearly
  3. 4 more monarch caterpillars on our butterfly weed!
  4. Yeah it’s a bit damp. Ggem much less as it gives a better push to the fall-like HP next week.
  5. There's 3 of these on the morning radar loop, all from locations I've previously seen. This one in Charles county, one near Havre de Grace in Harford County near the top of the Bay and a 3rd near Wilmington, DE. Again, I think it's swallow (possibly Purple Martin) colonies taking flight in the morning.
  6. Huh, weird. Could I have been blocked somehow!?! I didn’t even follow him.
  7. Euro, gfs, and GEFS all hinting at windows-open type weather next week possibly.
  8. lol, JB’s twitter account doesn’t show any tweets right now? Did he finally say too many quiet parts out loud and have to hide the evidence?
  9. Possibly costing their team a chance to make a comeback against the juggernaut Baltimore Orioles
  10. @WeatherShak I think probably birds leaving a roost. I’d guess swallows like purple martins.
  11. A bit of rain but missed a bunch by just a few miles.
  12. Very threatening sky. Dark and breezy. Thunder in distance.
  13. Storms hopped right over me
  14. Colliding boundaries kicking off storms near Owings Mills. Maybe something popping near me? edit...sprinkles achieved
  15. 18z hrrr gives me 3 rounds of storms this evening and overnight so I’ll just sit here patiently
  16. Howard county force field today with these storms
  17. Hrrr still likes central MD later this evening edit...well 21z did, 22z doesn’t
  18. Dang central VA is lit up
  19. I’m not watching hockey, but the orioles have scored 1 run against the marlins in 23 innings, so keep some perspective on disappointing performances.
  20. We have been there once and really enjoyed it. Fingers crossed the foliage is nice at that time.
  21. @nj2va thanks! We managed to convince the rest of the family, so hopefully we’ll book the house today.
  22. Regular Deep Creek visitors like @nj2va: we're trying to plan a big family getaway for late September or Columbus Day weekend. A couple family members think it will be too chilly Columbus Day weekend to do much on/in the water (or maybe outside...). I figure it's certainly possible to get a chilly day that time of year, but could also be spectacular with temps near 70? What's your personal experience?
