  1. Fairbanks, Alaska will be in the 80’s today. My warmest day so far this year had a high of 75.
  2. Nothing but ominous clouds, and sunshine. Had a few drops of spit on the windshield on the LIE.
  3. It really made a huge difference out here. I was expecting mid to upper 60’s at best, but it’s 75.
  4. Jumped into the 70’s here a lot quicker than the previous two days. I was expecting today to be cooler than the previous two days but so far it’s warmer than both were at this time.
  5. Finally cleared out here, 69 and rising quickly.
  6. Topped out at 74 here, warmest day of the year so far.
  7. Feels weird actually seeing 70’s in the forecast.
  8. 0.89” event total here.
  9. Getting some intermittent sunshine here, temp is 60. 0.52” earlier.
  10. If it was sunny and dry I wouldn’t really care about it being BN, but I just don’t see how anyone can enjoy this extended dreariness. It’s as if we no longer get those extended stretches of 60’s/70’s with sunshine and low humidity. We just instantly go from Seattle to Houston with no adjustment period.
  11. 65 here, closest we’ve been to average in quite a while.
  12. Thanks. I’d always thought of it as more of a light coating of less than 0.1”, didn’t know a couple of melted flakes fit the definition as well.
  13. What exactly constitutes a trace?
  14. 42 with a very light drizzle here. Haven't seen snow in over 3 months, I especially don’t want to see it now in late April.
  15. No hail here lol. Hail and subzero temperatures avoid me, I’ve never seen either.
  16. Sounds amazing. I have to get off of this island.
  17. Getting some close CTGs here. Rainfall is very underwhelming so far.
  18. I’ve never seen hail, maybe today I will.
  19. Seasonal lag is a PITA. Can you imagine how much better off we’d be if Spring behaved more like Fall? Fall weather (in reverse) + the stronger sunshine would be a dramatic improvement over this confused tepid mess of a season. Currently 40 degrees (and dropping) in the middle of the day, today’s max sun angle is over 60 degrees, elevation is close to sea level. Ridiculous.
  20. Got down to 30 here, first time below freezing since March 8th. It was very brief, thankfully, but still rather annoying.
