Precisely why I read more than I post.

Topped out at 68, down to 64 right now. If the skies earlier were as clear as they are now we likely would’ve hit at least 70. I’m officially in spring-mode. I bought and used an entire bag of potting soil yesterday.

65 here, warmest day since Nov 1st which topped out at 69.

Mostly cloudy today just ESE of you, had about 2-2.5 hours of sun. Maxed out at 59.

Everything has been a miss for me so far.

33 with moderate to heavy snow. Accumulating on cold surfaces.

It’s high time we had an AN March....or Morch.

Models always confuse me when it comes to Long Island. I never really know if Long Island is being depicted as cooler/warmer/wetter/drier/etc. or if it just appears that way because Long Island doesn’t exist on some models. Made it up to 44 here, a full 4-5 degrees above forecast.

I’m one of the biggest warmanistas here, and even I’m confused at all the ship jumping so soon, at least wait a few more weeks lol. It’s late December, our snowiest month on average is February, anything can happen between now and then. Our winters are too erratic to ever get comfortable with any pattern. With that being said, I hope all the ship jumpers are proven right, I hope this winter will be terrible for cold/snow lovers. We’re a couple of days away from mid-winter and the dandelions are back out in full force.

Managed to reach 50 today, full sunshine made it feel even warmer, B+ rating for the first full day of winter.

Looks like another world compared to here.

Hoping for the milder outcome, as always. Cold is useless, and even the mildest winters have snow, though a snowless winter in our climate is probably a case of when and not if.

Nice video. And even this looks a lot better than what materialized here. Nothing has been able to match the 12/24/13 snow squall for me. Dropped roughly 5 inches in about 40 minutes on the night before Christmas. Honestly my favorite snow event.

Lasted about 10 minutes, light to moderate snow, finished with 1/32”, I’ll mark this one as a trace.

Wow, that was....underwhelming. Even by my standards.

Squall just arrived, it went from late afternoon to looking like midnight here.

Light snow in Bridgeport. The entire landscape here was covered in ice this morning, very stark difference from NYC/Long Island.
