    75/68 here, low was 74, warmest of the year so far.

    Finally home. All traffic lights were out except one. Saw quite a few of CTG’s while on the LIE, some uncomfortably close. 1.13” here and still going, we really needed this.

    I‘m like 90% certain that I was watching it hail on my security camera. I’m not home and I have never experienced hail. This is cruel.

    Pop up cell to my north now, I definitely should get rain with this one *knock on wood*.

    Tiny cell just blew up right to my east, if I get no rain I’m gonna be pretty pissed. It’s literally like feet away. Edit: This is some sort of sick joke lol. No rain and several very near misses over the last few days, but this one missed me a few hundred feet.

    I see a not so surprising number of people on social media conflating hail with sleet/graupel.... “Hail in the summer??” Umm...yes? Congrats though, hail is one weather phenomenon that I’ve yet to experience.

    Topped out at 89 here, would’ve been my 5th 90. Currently 86/66.

    Super orange outside, looks like Sahara dust but it’s probably not.

    Looks like it might be trying to pivot southeast, if so I may get lucky, or it might just totally avoid me, which honestly seems more likely. Edit: Yeah it’s a miss lol.

    It’s parked right over you, total jackpot. I’m right on the southern edge of it, breezy with thunder and big raindrops. Rain gauge still at 0.00”, sitting outside and it feels good lol.

    Looks like you’ll get more action than me, southern part died out but it blew up to the north. Hopefully we get some real action later on. Knocked the temp down to 84 from 88, breezy with some occasional thunder.

    Getting breaks of sunshine now, temp is 78, high of 80 so far.

    The dryness is really helping to raise the temps, today’s my third day in a row of 90’s (91, 90, 91), a minor heat wave. Currently 85 with intermittent cloud cover.

    Snuck in a 90 here, third one so far. Down to 79 now with cloud cover.

    Dew down to 58 now, temp is 89, high of 91.

    Still humid in Long Island, currently 88/73 and alternating between sun and clouds.
