    My average high for July so far is 90, today should ruin that.

    Getting some thunder here now, storms to my NW. New lightning detector just got its first hit from a strike 11 miles away.

    75/70 with overcast marine slop, 20 degree temp drop from the high of 95.

    Dew point spiked to 75 with the arrival of the sea breeze before settling back down at 70-71. Dews were in the 60’s prior to the sea breeze. 92/71 here, high of 95 so far.

    Finally lol. I hope it’s the first of many there. If ISP was located about a mile or two further north they’d likely have several 90’s by now.

    92 here after a low of 72. ISP should have hit 90, it was at 89 an hour ago.

    It’s crazy how ISP hasn’t hit 90 yet, maybe tomorrow they will. Today was my 7th 90.

    Yeah I left that part out lol, I’m so accustomed to both gunshots and fireworks that I can tell which one is which. Subtle differences, but after a while you can hear it. Way less gunshots here in LI than in Queens though.

    Back up to 86 here now as well.

    Am I the only one that finds it soothing? I’m from Jamaica, Queens, anything too quiet feels suspicious lol. The humming of Air conditioners, Cicadas, fireworks and ice cream trucks = sounds of summer.

    Same. DP spiked into the mid 70’s and the temp dropped into the 80’s. 84/74 here currently, high was 91.

    Thanks and good riddance. I had no idea the radar was was that close to the obstruction, literally walking distance.

    Eastern Suffolk always seems to do better than Western Suffolk, I don’t get it. Quick shower here but it amounted to nothing.

    That obstruction near the OKX radar gets on my nerves.

    77/72 here, the temp plummeted during a quick shower but the sun is back out now.

    Same. Looks like a race between the sea breeze and the BDCF, I wonder which one will be first.

    92/72 (HI 100) under hazy sunshine.

    Pretty much socked with clouds here since just after sunrise. 83/72 (HI 88).

    Finally home. All traffic lights were out except one. Saw quite a few of CTG’s while on the LIE, some uncomfortably close. 1.13” here and still going, we really needed this.

    I‘m like 90% certain that I was watching it hail on my security camera. I’m not home and I have never experienced hail. This is cruel.

    Pop up cell to my north now, I definitely should get rain with this one *knock on wood*.
