  1. Looks like another lovely weekend upcoming
  2. Not even sure if people in Alaska consider November a winter month
  3. Part of me gets it...we've had plenty of May's before and Memorial Day Weekends where we're basking in the 80's but we've also had our share of crappy ones. But with many longing for consistently warmer and nicer weather by now we expect the anomalous warmth to be the rule versus the exception.
  4. May had some nice days mixed in but overall it wasn't anything to write home about. Kind of sucked actually but its still a spring month in New England so expecting stretches of upper 70's and 80's is just unrealistic.
  5. Wish it would stay out for a good 30-45 minutes even. Feels worlds different when sun is poking out
  6. Kind of meh with all these clouds. Figured the clouds would win today but was hoping it would be more of a mix
  7. First week of June has potential to be quite warm
  8. maybe the house settling lol. There was no gust of wind or anything. I didn't feel any shaking but it went from dead silence to this audibly loud rumble and the house creaked simultaneously which sounded like it started with the walls and then with the roof/attic and different parts. Hole thing was maybe a 2 second ordeal. I checked around outside and didn't see anything that had fallen onto the house.
  9. Yeah and I don't really see anything on social media or anything. I wonder WTF that was.
  10. Nobody else felt anything? There was a very evident rumble with some shaking then the whole house creaked. My girlfriend was sleeping since she is pretty sick and it woke her up.
  11. Don't have to worry about sunburn when you wear layers!
  12. I was it was 100 here…but over a 75 dewpoint
  13. If it stays dry in the Hartford area from like 4-8 PM I will do naked cartwheels down Main Street
  14. Pretty awful pattern moving probably through the first week of June...pretty ripe for these type of developments...maybe not as extreme as this.
  15. I thought I saw a few flakes falling but I think it was a bird who pooped or just big drips off the gutter
  16. Have to dress like its winter today...not going to be fun sitting outside in the rain and cold.
  17. I wonder if local offices pushes for it. They are under a plume of steeper lapse rates moving in from the west and the breaks have yielded some very steep llvl lapse rates. The HRRR does have a few intense storms developing in the next hour or two. Dewpoints on the lower side though for what you'd like to see
  18. It's coming!!! No soundings available, however, if you close your eyes you can see the EML coming straight for us
