  1. Parents reporting a heavy thunderstorm on the Bayside in North Cape May (Town Bank), NJ. Flipped to all wet snow here in Warminster, PA now.
  2. Latest modeling delays the flip here this closer to 11AM. Our area was under the nws zone of highest uncertainty. Have a feeling the delayed flip and faster forward speed will yield an underperformer here but we'll see. Keeping the bar set at 2" on grass.
  3. Still a decent hit in Bucks (and other areas) on the 12k at 18z
  4. Every one of the mesos are on board now. Big adjustments last 18hrs for sure. Still a little time to go, but looks solid with a classic late season rain to snow track wave along a front type thing. Globals out to lunch with thermals on this one. Underestimating the CAA push coming. Squalls likely Saturday evening and night as well. Last hurrah?
  5. I went 3-6" far N and W lollis to 8" (Reading-Allentown), 2-5" West Chester-KOP-Doylestown, c-3" East of there to the River. Subject to change
  6. That would work. Stretched out front with another low developing to enhance the backbuilding after the primary wave moves thru and brings CAA in it's wake. One of the wrfs is hellbent on developing an entirely separate storm at 48hrs coming N out of the Tennessee Valley. Some fast changes happening with this on guidance:
  7. Wind gusts are incredible right now. Just had one in the mid 40s easy.
  8. It is funny now watching people squirm regarding drilling for fossil fuels on our home turf. Once the pinch at the pump started, funny to see the backpedaling and suddenly more and more people open to it. I never understood this....get oil from overseas and pad their wallets while we save the climate here, even tho other countries we get oil from are affecting said climate via fossil fuel refining. Quite hypocritical?
  9. I moved all my 401k into stable funds (97% of them) back in mid Dec when Covid started to skyrocket. Kept it there, and glad I did. Lucky timing.
  10. Are you going to do the same thing you did last storm? Every single model now has the stripe of accum snows in SE PA. Timing is near perfect....early morning hours and AM rush so sun not really an issue. Many of us will see a car topper/mulch topper. I love the 70s today but you have to at least acknowledge what guidance is showing. Cant just disregard it because you personally moved on from winter. We go thru this every year anymore. March is the new Feb.
  11. Going to be 8$ by April so say the experts. Wouldnt be surprised. We haven't seen anything yet.
  12. This would be an amazing finish to winter and push many above normal for the year. Several runs in a row and the gefs are hinting.
  13. Beautiful out now. Fun time of year. I dont think roads were impacted too severely in my area so it made for nice scenery without the travel headache....at least imby. Sorry for folks N and W who were hit harder.
