  1. Luckily for western NC the models are showing less rain, shifting the heavy axis to eastern areas
  2. I was told there would be no severe weather..
  3. 36.8 here and still slowly dropping. Pretty close to an icy mess but not close enough
  4. People were giving me so much crap a few days ago about posting models that showed no snow or wintry precip.. look at us now
  5. It's still too early to grade the winter, at least for the foothills, and mountains. March can be wild and unpredictable
  6. We could use a few angels to help us at this rate, but more like snow angels not sun
  7. My uncle always talks about the 60s in the mountains being the best. Of course dad talks about the 80s. I guess I've got 2009 and 2010.
  8. There are at least 4 different waves of rain the next week. Today/tonight, Saturday, maybe even Sunday, Tuesday then later next week another strong low. Rays weather posted this graphic with 6 to 8 inches of rain over most of SC and some of NC.
  9. You're not wrong about people not wanting to talk about rain in winter but there will be severe weather. There is even a slight risk today for part of the upstate. We will be looking at some strong lows going up the TN Valley and be in the warmer SE quadrant, especially piedmont and coastal plain areas.
  10. That might be true. That flooding was crazy, never seen anything like it. Good luck in the tourney!
  11. Well I do live almost on a flood plain near the Catawba so lol.
  12. So severe weather that is more damaging to property should be ignored ok got it.
  13. The flooding threat has my interest piqued. Its usually the area we can always score!
  14. We should be focusing on the flooding and severe threat next week
  15. Haha I feel the same way. I was close to purchasing as well.
  16. I'm saving this, don't know if I have ever seen a temperature map like the UK shows here. 8 in Mississippi and almost 60 in Raleigh.
  17. Robert has been hinting for a while that a dry summer is coming. We shall see. But I totally agree it has been incredibly wet.
  18. That would be par for the course. Right when I want to be trout fishing. Better get some warm gear
  19. If we can get past the next 10 days of miserable cold rains I think we will have the worst of it behind us with warmer and drier conditions in March
  20. 6 to 8 inches of rain in N GA up to CLT the next 8/9 days.
  21. This run was a small step in the right direction I think
  22. Euro appears to be slightly quicker with the cold push so far after Saturdays rain
  23. NWS forecast was a high of 52 and mostly cloudy, it's currently 56 and mostly sunny
  24. I was on Wright and eastern wx and wasn't ban and I know I'm one you are mentioning.
