  1. He definitely has. He comes off as pompous and rude lately. Jason Boyer does a better job on social media in my opinion. He may not be as good a forecaster but he seems like a nice dude
  2. I'm telling you it has done a pretty good job with the past few storms here and catching on to trends
  3. I'm just looking for trends, and the trends today have been for heavier precip here with the initial surge
  4. It will snow outside of the higher elevations, I guarantee some foothills and northwest piedmont areas get a few inches at least.
  5. I really think the southern escarpment from Cashiers to Brevard up to Lake Lure and Old Fort may cash out. They will have the best rates and higher elevation. Could definitely see 4 to 6 there.
  6. It's funny how everyone is freaking out about temps. All the models forecasted 50 and up for a lot of us today so this isn't some big shock.....And as others have said it has and can snow after being warm a few hours earlier. It's cold up high. Rates will overcome
  7. I'm thinking general 2 to 3 across McDowell with 3 to 5 close to the Blue Ridge and at higher elevations
  8. I would say 2 to 3 for sure. If you get under some good banding 3 to 5 is possible
  9. I'm very pleased so far. Thinking 2 to 4 is realistic here
  10. decent trends here overnight. Pretty much every model has 2 inches plus now. I will take it. Got down to 20 last night. 29 now.
  11. The Euro and GFS aren't that bad for foothills areas
  12. The UK doesn't look too bad for my area but I think it includes sleet and ZR in snow maps, not sure though
  13. A heavy band seems likely for you all. May be some surprises there
  14. Canadian is super dry for western and even Northern areas in VA
  15. Nothing wrong with following your career goals and cashing in on snow
