  1. Rates aren't heavy enough to accumulate here. It's picked up but not enough
  2. I think we wont get as much as the last little event but its still 34 here and clouded up
  3. Franklin to Lake Toxaway will probably be the sweet spot with 2 or 3 inches. I will be lucky to see flake
  4. Yea was just hoping they would get juicier instead of dry but that isn't the case
  5. Both Nams had a bit less moisture for Asheville north and east
  6. It's already 28 here with the wind dying down. Interested to see if the new Nam continues to trend wetter
  7. Short range Canadian snow accumulation
  8. Widespread 2 to 4 inches of rain across most of the area next 10 days..
  9. We have a few tiny flurries downtown and the wind is ripping
  10. Didnt get as much in McDowell this time. 3.70 and not much flooding
  11. Flood threat seems to be diminishing now with lighter rates
  12. I know this well. But the flood from Michael was the worst in recorded history in Danville according to the USGS gage.
  13. The preceding river conditions were way different then. The water levels are much lower now and it would have to rain over 7 inches to even get to moderate flood. There will be some flooding but it is highly unlikely to be close to Michael. I was in Danville when it hit. 3 people were washed away and drowned by the flash flooding, the Dan River rose 20 feet in hours. People underestimate what a disaster it was for the city
  14. It won't be close. Wind gusted over 60 mph in Danville and it rained over 6 inches in 6 hours.
  15. Michael was devastating for Danville. This wont touch that..
  16. Robert has been laying down the painful truth on Facebook. Also talks about the flooding threat which I am very concerned
  17. `18Z Nam now shows no snow at all for the weekend. Hopefully the up slope will over perform..
