    The RDPS showed some light amounts too now..If I see some wet snow tomorrow I will consider it a huge win

    That March upper low was so painful here. Morganton had 4-6 inches and Shelby more than that. We didn't even get an inch due to downsloping. We got very little snow in 2012/13 too.

    I had 2 winters already in that stretch that were basically snow less. In the past 20 years or so it has been cyclical with there often being back to back to back bad winters and back to back snowy winters. Just look at my signature

    The winter of 2009/10 had a negative NAO and active STJ. Jackpot. It snowed multiple times each month including December even in Marion.

    Another main difference is the amount of precip the 12km NAM brings in compared to the Hi Res
