I have been scouring every piece of data I can find and they have all increased moisture from last nights runs. One of the biggest things I have noticed is the models want to set up a band near or over the escarpment.

I know it's the RAP but it also trended much wetter. We might get a decent NAM run here.

Pretty major improvements on the HRRR. Nothing huge but better than brown ground.

For the first time this storm, the HRRR has a band of snow hitting us tomorrow morning.

Historically, we average more snow than Nashville. They have been absolutely killing us the past 5 years.

Answer- something that rarely happens in the foothills. Once every 3 or 4 winters is the new norm
