  1. I have one of these. It’s perfect for those type of light needs.
  2. Seems like most engines are sealed under plastic covers nowadays anyway.
  3. FFW just extended to Orange County. These same areas were hit a couple of weeks ago. There was a lot of washed out road edges on Rt.125 down past the Middlebury Snow Bowl through Ripton. There was also a house that got burrows by a landslide. This certainly won’t help.
  4. 16”+ here. With half that coming with the flood. Water is still coming out of places you don’t normally see it. My new golf course is pretty wet. Took a bout 45 minutes of rain Saturday to make it unplayable.
  5. I'll leave it to the Mainers but Wilton seems a bit far from the ocean for lobster rolls etc. I've only driven through on Rt.2 though.
  6. I've said it a million times, I would leave for mud season but other than that, I'm fine.
  7. Do you actually do any type of outdoor activity? I played 30 holes of golf. Biking, hiking, lawn work, going to an amusement park or even just wandering around some town’s shops and restaurants. As for swimming, your kids are young enough that this weather is plenty warm enough for them. Man, you’re bringing out the Ginx in me.
  8. I’ve got the ac that let’s you stay installed but still open the window.
  9. Wasn’t that gentle here. Was on the 7th hole of our member/guest tournament. They shut it down because the water table is so high the cours became saturated almost immediately. Ended up with .61”
  10. Considering there is only one person here who thinks that sounds fun…
  11. Yes, it’s very easy. The frame that it sits on goes in and the unit rests on that so it’s held up by that and not the window. They give you pieces to fill in the gaps. I think the first time I saw it was a link that @Ginx snewxput in one of these threads. It’s like a window unit mini-split. The only thing inside is the blower unit.
  12. I got this. Yes, it’s a window unit but it works really well and is quiet. It uses the same inverter technology and has wifi connectivity. Midea 8,000 BTU U-Shaped Smart Inverter Window Air Conditioner –Cools up to 350 Sq. Ft., Ultra Quiet with Open Window Flexibility, Works with Alexa/Google Assistant, 35% Energy Savings, Remote Control https://a.co/d/6s4Smga
  13. Rained on and off here but only .37. That qualifies as a win this month.
  14. Like her music and views or not, she stood up for what she believed in.
  15. I’ve heard tales told of the Great SE Mass desert. Nary a lawn grows with out irrigation. All centered on the wasteland that is Taunton. I hear they’ve only had 5” or rain in the last 3 weeks. Not sure how civilization survives.
  16. Good thing you had Ginxy's old phone so you could take a picture!
  17. @powderfreakmentioned he had a wedding to attend at the top of Jay Peak this weekend. He might be able to ski down afterwards.
  18. I like that place. Even the law seats are good, if it’s a nice night.
  19. 53° at my house and 51° where I’m staying this weekend.
  20. It might not have been local government. It might have been the venue. I would also say that the town has to balance the interests of the business with its residents. 11:00 isn’t awful. The noise and stuff doesn’t stop immediately. I bet with big shows the disturbance doesn’t end until 2:00 or 3:00
